Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hope you all had/are having a wonderful Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Whatever. What was your favorite present this year? I got a really nice new tripod that I can't wait to get out and use. It has a quick release mounting platform so I don't have to keep screwing and unscrewing my camera onto the tripod. It's also very light so this will make my hiking trips a lot easier.

It's been quite a while since I was here last, and I hadn't been too active before that. I have an incredibly message center right now, which I am a little embaressed about, but I plan on working my way through it all. Christmas is a hectic season for me, but it's almost over and my hours will be going down.

I haven't been able to get out much recently. I went to Stone Mountain with my brother, but right when we got there the sky opened up and poured. So, no new pictures from me. I look forward to looking at all of yours though.

Yeah, I've gotten way behind on my comments. When I don't get home until 11:30 IO usually don't feel like doing much and my brain doesn't want to work enough to leave intelligent comments. I gave up after a while and don't comment on everyone anymore, but there are certain people that I still make sure to comment on (yourself included).

But, I will take pictures soon. I got my camera today (*quivers in excitement*) and I can't wait to read the manual. Hopefully my days off will be nice enough to go out next week. It's been way too long since I took pictures.
